Bringing together representatives from dozens of groups working to craft policies and initiatives to advance food security across Pa.

Today, Gov. Wolf announced Pennsylvania’s Senior Food Box Program is now feeding 20% more seniors than it was this time last year!

Since taking office in 2015, Gov. Wolf has increased funding for programs that address hunger and food access by more than $80 million.

One of Gov. Wolf’s very first initiatives in 2015 was an all-inclusive executive order addressing food security and nutrition issues.

"Not being able to serve Pennsylvania's seniors in need of food assistance was not an option," said PA Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding

In this season of giving, let us remember our neighbors in need and how we can support the charitable food system within our communities.

“Through this innovative partnership, we can remove barriers and increase enrollment while simultaneously reducing the stigma of hunger."

Since the PASS program was first funded by the Wolf Administration in 2015, more than 20.6 million pounds of food has been distributed
